Piazza
— We are using Piazza for course communication.
You must sign up for CPSC 221's Piazza section
https://piazza.com/ubc.ca/winterterm22015/cpsc221/home and read at least the announcements daily,
but you may use a throwaway e-mail address and a pseudonym to sign up if you do not want identifying
information stored outside Canada. (You need the signup key to sign up. This will be announced several times in lecture. If you didn't get it,
as in class, or lab, or TA office hours, or your friends in class who
did get it!)
(For private enquiries or those that may
violate academic conduct standards, e-mail your instructor.)
-
Grades (Connect)
— We will use Connect as an electronic gradebook, so you
can check that your marks were recorded properly.
If you see a mistake, be sure to contact us ASAP!
(Talk to or email your lab TA for missing/wrong lab marks,
and your instructor for missing/wrong assignment/exam marks.)
If you do not inform us of errors on Connect before
the end of the term, the marks recorded on Connect are final.
