CPSC319 is a third year Software Project Course offered by the Department of Computer Science at the University of British Columbia.
The course typically has more than 100 students in teams of six to eight working on approximately 8 projects. Projects can come from many sources in industry or academia. The primary focus of the course is to apply the software development methodology theory learned in CPSC310 within a team setting, working on a real project, and with a real client.
Projects best suited for this course have one or more of the following properties:
CPSC319 cannot be used to create commercial software. However, joint development of intellectual property resulting from CPSC319 projects is possible.
