README file ==================================================== Cs 314 Project 1 Giraffe Lauren Candlish ==================================================== Modelling: The giraffe has all required features : body, tail, head, ears 4 legs with upper/lower leg and hoof and a curling neck Bonus features: The giraffe is fully coloured with added spots for detail he has eyes, and a tongue (hidden by default) Also created was a colourful environment for the giraffe to be in. Note his is fenced in to a graden like surrounding with trees, flowers and of course clouds in the sky. I believe this is sufficient extra features for the full 2 bonus marks allocated to modelling. ==================================================== Animation: All required animations are working properly. All animations can be run at the same time as another animation so long as the first animation doesn't interfere with the second. Example if you rear the giraffe, you can not in the middle of it lower his front leg. Additionally in the rear if the giraffe is already moving his left front leg up, it will continue to move up if rear is called, if the left front leg is moving down, and rear is called the left front leg will switch directions and move up, with out first completing the down motion. Note this applies to all the giraffes body parts that participate in rear. ==================================================== key commands: space: toogles smooth mode vs jump cut mode q: quit r: camera in original view s: camera in other side view f: camera in front view (note the giraffe was drawn facing backwards thus front and back are switched) b: camera in back view a: camera in over view u: camera in under view h: head turn t: tail wag c: neck curl g: rear l: front left leg m: front right leg n: back left leg o: back right leg bonus animations: w: ear wag d: stick out tongue i: giraffe flirts with the viewer z: dance, put one front leg up first if you want a cooler looking dance 6: rotate camera in positive x direction 4: rotate camera in negative x dirtection I believe this is also sufficient extra bonus animations to get the 3 full allocated bonus marks.
