Midterm Information

• The midterm is on Wednesday, March 1 from 5:00-6:30 PM. There are no classes (lectures) on Wednesday for any of the sections.
• Everyone in Mehrdad's class stays in their 5PM classroom: DMP 310. This is ONLY for Section 203, which just happens to fit double-spaced into DMP 310 because of their relatively small class size. So, Mehrdad's class ONLY goes to DMP 310.
• Everyone in Section 201 (Ed's class) or Section 202 (Anthony's class) will go to the Swing Space building. Here are the rooms. You must go to the room that is assigned to you, based on the first letter of your LAST NAME:
• Last names A-I (from Sections 201 and 202) will go to room SWNG 121
• Last names J-P (from Sections 201 and 202) will go to room SWNG 122
• Last names Q-Z (from Sections 201 and 202) will go to room SWNG 221

Course Description

• Basic Algorithms and Data Structures: Design and analysis of basic algorithms and data structures; algorithm analysis methods, searching and sorting algorithms, basic data structures, graphs and concurrency.

• Grades (Connect) — We will use Connect as an electronic gradebook, so you can check that your marks were recorded properly. If you see a mistake, be sure to contact us ASAP. (Talk to, or e-mail, your lab TA for missing/wrong lab marks, and your instructor for missing/wrong exam marks.)
